Urban Tree Service president, Ed Hopkins, has been a leader in the tree care and landscape management industry for more than 33 years. He earned a B.A. (Cum Laude) from Franklin Pierce College in Rindge, NH. He majored in Biology with a special emphasis on plant pathology. Ed’s customers trust him and value his professional opinion for many reasons; his eye for aesthetics and his knowledge of tree health and safety being at the top of the list. Historic tree preservation and restoration is a passion of Ed’s and he is well known for his expertise in that area. He is a certified arborist in both New Hampshire and Maine and is also certified with the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA). In fact, Ed is a past winner of the ISA’s prestigious “True Professionals of Arboriculture” award. Ed believes that his team is only as strong as its weakest member and for that reason he encourages on-going education and training for his employees.
